More New stuff.

Brooks from gamefaq's info after playing it at E3.

The controls seem to be the biggest problem for me. It felt very awkward and wasnt as smooth like Tenkaichi 3. For example while playing i would do a strong hit that knocks the opponent away, i attempted a pursuit attack by pressing X then Square, but instead of smashing the opponent even further I would just clumsily run into them and all action would just stop... Also there are other weird moments where i was in front of the opponent and i would attack, but for some reason my attack wouldn't connect. Im thinking that just a glitch that will be worked out in the final version though.

And for the life of me I could NOT figure out what circle did. For SS goku circle did instant transmission which was awesome. But for other characters like Freeza and Vegeta they were just an alternate combo attack button. Oh yeah piccolo had a nice grab type attack with cricle. My guess is that O is just a "unique" attack button.

One more thing. Not to be a whiner but i really hate the hud. Its in a small cramped corner, completely missed unless you actually look for it. It breaks down your health into 3 parts and every time you loose a bar of health a small green ball disappears. This may be only me but i think they should just go back to the huds the used in the old games.

Now on to some good news:

Game looked absolutely beautiful in 720p
Every character had a different battle intro depending on who your fighting.
Everybody has 3 to 4 supers and 1 ultra

Did i mention how beautiful this looked in HD!? Because it did!!! Now that thats out there one of my favorite little details so far is that every character (even forms) began the battle with a unique quote for whoever your fighting. Thats a nice little touch that shows spike is putting a high effort in this game.

As for special attacks characters can have up to 5 now! All specials are done by moving the right analog Right/Left/Up/Down and ultra specials with R3. Piccolo had 4 attacks an all were damaging attacks like Special Beam Cannon, Energy volly, a rush attack, and his ultra was Light Grenade. But some characters have power up and stunning specials. So basicaly they combined blast 1 and blast 2 moves into just a "special" category.

So on an ending note im still unclear weather this is a step-up from T3 or a Tenkaichi 1 HD remix. Oh Also splitting character into Early, Mid, End versions has been taken out. Its obvious because piccolo seemed to be a combination of his early and end versions from T3. And base goku had what i think was the universal spirit bomb. (The one that he killed Buu with)

Enough of my rambling here are my vids.
